In Tororo district, the people of Mella sub-country were attacked by the lions at night where they ate 12goats and eight pigs and hid in the near swamps.
The LC3chairperson Mr. Peter Olira said the most affected villages were those next to River Malaba and urgently requested the Uganda World Life Authority to help them out with the situation.
