According to Titus Naikuni the Kenya Airways Group Managing Director, the northern Tanzania region has got a lot of extraordinary tourism attractions like the famous Serengeti National Park. And so now that there are plans of exploiting Tanzania’s used resources, Kilimanjaro seems to be one good place to have a direct flight if all attractions there are to be put to good use and help in the development of the tourism industry. Aside from Serengeti, there are other attractions like Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge which will be very much accessible since the airport is Kilimanjaro and Arusha in Northern Tanzania and may be a perfect gate way to Africa’s Rich Wildlife Heritage

It is important to note that Arusha has got number big international bodies and therefore this may be the best opportunity to get involved in conference and business tourism. Arusha is also the base of the East African Community. Dr Naikuni said that they decided to fly to Eldoret because of the increase in the number of travelers that will benefit from the existence of that flight especially since it is a busy town considering where it is situated to the country food basket. The opening of this route follows the opening of the Kilimanjaro and an Eldoret route comes after the opening of the route to New Delhi India on May 15.
