Murder suspects in Serengeti revealed.

The suspects who were caught in Tanzania and are believed to have been apart of the raiding of a tourist camp  which is in the western Serengeti and ended up  killing two innocent people among whom include one  tourists from Denmark were mentioned to the public  by the police force.

According to the information from the police force, they had two suspects arrested but still looking for the other five so said Absalom Mwakyoma the Mara Regional Police Commander (RPC) Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SACP) while addressing the Daily News’ on Thursday.

The two suspects were caught with two sub machine guns (SMG) and six rounds of ammunition, bags containing things that they think belong to the tourists and they stole them from them when they attacked them. The regional police chief also said that these two arrested are from the neighboring Tarime district. There was a robbery in the Ikoma Tented camp last Wednesday by unidentified group of people last week and this tent is just a few metres from the popular Serengeti National Park and they killed Eric Brewelmans a tourist from Denmark together with Mr. Renatus Bernard the camp assistant manager.

This forced two ministers who included Ambassador Hamisi Kagasheki who is the Tourism and Natural Resources and Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi who is for Home Affairs to visit the Serengeti so that they can examine the situation as away of ensuring that they work on the security of the area. They had to spend Special Forces to Serengeti to help find the killers with all the other security bodies which are in the district.
