Uganda Adventure Safari

6 Days Tour to Queen Elizabeth , Fort portal  MURCHISON FALLS and Murchison Falls National Parks.

DAY 1 ; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
You will be collected from your hotel in Kampala early in the morning to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach the park in the afternoon. You may rest or go for a walk in the Mweya Peninsula. There is no doubt that Queen Elizabeth owns one of the uppermost bio diversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, - from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and brooding Crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward.
Almost 100 mammal species that include Lions, Leopard, Hippos, Spotted Hyena, Buffaloes, Elephants, Mangoose, Bushbucks and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus over 600 amazing  bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, Black Bee-Eater, Chappirs Fly Catcher, Bustards, craters full of Lesser Flamingos the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters, and if you are lucky, the Legendary Shoebill Stork among others. And some people refer to this park as the birder’s paradise.Queen Elizabeth national park  is also a  home  to  a diversity of primate species like Chimpanzee, Black Faced Red Colobus, Blue and Red Tailed monkeys Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Olive Baboons among others.  Among the reptiles, this park consists of Puffadders, Rock-Python, Gabon Rippers, Spitting Cobras, Green Mambas, Turtles, crocodiles etc. All these are regularly seen around the tourist village on the Mweya Cape making superb safari terrain.

DAY 2 : Game drive / Boat ride Kazinga channel

Go for an early morning game drive in the Park  in search for Lions, Leopard, Hippos, Spotted Hyena, Buffaloes, Elephants, Mangoose, Bushbucks and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus over 600 amazing  bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, Black Bee-Eater, Chappirs Fly Catcher, Bustards, craters full of Lesser Flamingos the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters, and if you are lucky, the Legendary Shoebill Stork among others. Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast and then Lunch . In the afternoon you will have lunch in then go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel to view water game. Hippos breathe and spray mere feet away from the boat, Buffalo loiter on the shores and shallow ends of the channel as a   stunning variety of birds grace the grasses on the shores. Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants, African Jacana, Open-Billed Stork, Malachite and Pied Kingfishers are commonly seen. February and March offer spectacular sightings of some of the bird migrants.  The guide on the Launch cruise will provide detailed explanations about each and every animal that you will encounter whilst on the launch cruise just to spice up the ride.  Dinner and overnight at

DAY 3   Trek the Kyambura Gorge and then transfer to   Fort Portal
Kyambura Gorge lies to the North East of Queen Elizabeth. It is 16 Km long and 100 metres deep. The Kyambura Gorge is as a result of deep erosion by the Kyambura River and consists of an island of riparian forest in the open savannah.  It  habours the a  family of habituated chimpanzees and many more primate speasand savannah wildlife.
After chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge, you will be picked up and transferred to Fort portal for dinner and over night at ;

DAY 4 : Transfer to Murchison Falls NP/ Visit the top of the falls

 Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will drive almost to reach the park in the afternoon. The journey offers you great sceneries that are pleasing till you reach the park in the afternoon.   The drive to the top of the falls from where you will marvel at  the beauty of the Nile is one venture that cant be missed once you visit this park. Some people refer to it as the highlight of this park. Here the Nile forces its self through a narrow Gorge 7 meters wide to fall a distance of about 150 ft down producing a thunderous roar of white water- incredible beautiful scenery!   Take photos then transfer to board the ferry across the river heading to Paraa Safari Lodge for lunch.  Relax at the lodge as you wait for an evening game drive to search for some savannah wildlife like the Giraffe, lion, leopard, etc and if you are lucky you will encounter them. You will drive direct to the top of the falls to view how the calm Nile is transformed into a thunderous roar of white foam fall about 50metres deep. You will then transfer to you lodge. DAY 5 : Game drive / Boat ride on Victoria Nile

Early morning you will go for a game drive in the park to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hide out. After the game drive you will return to the Lodge to have lunch and then in the afternoon go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile that will take you to the bottom of the Falls. You will assemble at the pier for the Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls another interesting activity. This will give you an opportunity to view some of the aquatic life in the River Nile like the crocodiles, hippos, while other animals will be seen at the banks of the river taking water .Plenty of birds will be seen standing on the backs of hippos and crocodile as they sing and if you are luck, you will encounter the legendary Shoebill stork the most sought for bird in Uganda.  The guide on the launch cruise will provide the necessary information about each and every feature on this cruise. DAY 6: Drive back to Kampala
After an early morning breakfast, you will go for a forest walk in Kaniyo Pabidi in search for Chimpanzees then after transfer to Masindi .  A stop over at the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary is rewarding if you still have the time to branch off. Lunch en route and then transfer to Kampala.

A  4 x 4 safari  Land Cruiser/ mini bus  with a pop up roof and safari guide  will be at your exclusive use throughout the safari which provides you with great flexibility. Your guide will accompany you throughout your safari, assist you with.
