This 2-day tour to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary offers a quick yet unforgettable opportunity to get up close with rescued chimpanzees in a natural lake island habitat. Located on Lake Victoria, just 23 km from Entebbe, Ngamba Island is home to over 50 orphaned chimpanzees rescued from across East Africa.

Itinerary
Early in the morning the guide will pick you up from your Hotel and then head to Entebbe. At the shore of Lake Victoria You will transfer by boat to Ngamba island Chimpanzee Island (one hours ride). On arrival you will be offered a brief introduction about this sanctuary plus its history. You will them observe the chimpanzees being fed and see how they interact with each other. Amazing to see are some of their unique characters which include whistling for food and clapping. This is a very amazing activity worth enjoying. Spend the night at Ngamba Island G AND C Camps
Today morning, those having clearance from CWT officials will set out for a forest walk in this natural habitat of the chimpanzees, it is a very unique exciting experience. You will have the opportunity to interact with the playful chimpanzees as they pull your hair, try to hold your hand as they walk besides you or even climb on you! In the day you will transfer back to the mainland by boat and then head to Its an extremely enjoyable activity. Later Return by boat to the main land from where you will be transferred to Entebbe airport for your next flight back home.

Lightweight, long-sleeved shirts and trousers are recommended for the forest walk. A hat and sunscreen will protect you from the sun, and comfortable walking shoes are a must.
