This 3 day gorilla safari takes you deep into the dense jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. This express gorilla trekking adventure is perfect for travelers with limited time who want to experience one of Africa’s most profound wildlife encounters face-to-face with a majestic gorilla family in their natural habitat.
Bwindi is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known not only for its gorillas but also for its stunning biodiversity, forest trails, and vibrant local communities.

Early in the morning, your guide will collect you from your hotel in Kampala and begin the scenic drive to southwestern Uganda. Along the way, there will be a brief stop at the Equator for photos and another at the Igongo Cultural Centre, offering insights into the region’s vibrant history and traditions.
Continue through the picturesque landscapes of western Uganda—often called the “Switzerland of Uganda”—where terraced hills and misty valleys create a breathtaking panorama. Lunch will be enjoyed in Mbarara before heading onward to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive at your lodge in the evening for a well-deserved dinner and rest.
