This safari takes you through Uganda’s most iconic primate destinations and wildlife parks, combining chimpanzee and gorilla encounters with unforgettable game drives and scenic lake cruises. Begin with a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary on Ngamba Island, then explore the savannahs of Murchison Falls, the dense forests of Kibale and Bwindi, and the rich wetlands of Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Parks. Along the way, encounter tree-climbing lions, birdlife by the thousands, crater lakes, volcanic hot springs, and serene boat journeys.

Start your adventure with a boat ride across Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island, home to a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. After a short briefing, you will watch the chimpanzees during their feeding session and learn about their rehabilitation stories. You may observe unique behaviors such as clapping or vocalizing for food. In the afternoon, return to Entebbe or Kampala for dinner and an overnight stay.
